Terroir
A few hundred feet can change everything. The Knoll sits 90 feet above the Porch Rows, catches the morning sun first, and makes a completely different wine.
We farm each block on its own schedule and bottle most of them separately, so you can taste the ridge one slope at a time.

The vineyard
Six blocks on one ridge, each with its own elevation, slope, and soil. Choose a block to see what grows there and which wine it becomes.

Pinot Noir
Cool air drifting off the pond keeps acidity high. Every grape here goes into our sparkling rosé.

Cabernet Franc
Afternoon sun and deep clay soil give this block ripe fruit and a peppery edge.

Fine bubbles, wild strawberry, and a squeeze of citrus.
Lightly oaked, with green apple and toasted almond.
Apricot and honeysuckle with a silky finish.
Dry and bright, with watermelon and wild strawberry.
Red cherry, black pepper, and a whisper of cedar.
Inky and bold: blackberry, violet, and dark chocolate.
Our easygoing house blend, soft and juicy.
Late-harvest Traminette with honey and ripe pear.
The vine's year
Right now, in October: Harvest. We pick every block by hand at dawn, tasting as we go to choose the day.
The vines rest, and we prune every one by hand on cold, bright mornings.
Tiny green shoots appear. We watch the forecast closely for late frost.
The vines flower and set the season’s fruit.
Green grapes turn gold and purple, and sugar starts to build.
We pick every block by hand at dawn, tasting as we go to choose the day.
New wines settle into barrel while the vines drop their leaves.

We built our flight online before we drove up, and it was poured and waiting on the terrace. The Petit Verdot came home with us.
Lantern Friday is the best night out in the valley. Good music, great flatbreads, and the sunset over the rows.
The cellar tour was worth it just for the barrel tasting. You can tell they love what they do.
Walk-ins are welcome when there is room, but weekends fill up. Reserving guarantees your table and lets us pour your flight before you arrive.
Both are welcome on the terrace and lawn. Leashed dogs only, please, and the tasting bar is for guests 21 and up.
We serve cheese and charcuterie boards daily and wood-fired flatbreads on Lantern Fridays. Picnics are welcome on the lawn.
Yes. The barrel cellar seats 40 for dinners, and the terrace holds up to 120 for receptions.
Reserve a tasting, a Lantern Friday table, or a Saturday cellar tour.
